EVO Nano+ worth it over the Mini 3 or am i just falling for the hype

ok so ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks now and i cant make up my mind. basically i want something small that i can throw in a backpack and not worry too much about regulations in my area (im in the EU so the weight stuff matters). the EVO Nano+ keeps showing up in my research and honestly it looks pretty solid but i dont know anyone personally who flies Autel so its hard to get a real opinion.

the DJI Mini 3 is the obvious choice i guess but everyone and their grandma has one and i kinda like the idea of going with something different. also heard the Nano+ has no geofencing which is a big deal for some of the spots i want to fly. camera seems decent from the sample footage ive seen but hard to tell if thats just good editing.

anyone been running the Nano+ for a while? is the app stable? thats honestly my biggest concern with a smaller brand, had a bad experience with a knockoff app crashing mid flight before (different drone, long story).

had the Nano+ for about eight months and honestly its been pretty solid for me. the app has crashed maybe twice but both times the drone just held its position and came back fine so nothing dramatic.

i went through the same debate lol. ended up getting the Mini 3 just because the accessory support is way better and i wanted ND filters without having to hunt around. nothing against Autel, the Nano+

camera is genuinely good for the size, the RYYB sensor does make a difference in low light compared to what i expected. wind resistance is where it gets a bit sketchy though, anything above like 18-20mph and it starts complaining and drifting more than id like. not a dealbreaker for me but worth knowing. overall i dont regret it but if you're deep in the DJI ecosystem already the Mini 3 probably makes more practical sense.

i went through the same debate lol. ended up getting the Mini 3 just because the accessory support is way better and i wanted ND filters without having to hunt around. nothing against Autel, the Nano+ looks nice but felt like i was gambling a little on long term software support. that said the no geofencing thing genuinely is a big plus for Autel and i kind of wish i had thought about that more before deciding.
