so me and 4 other guys from the club finally got together for this thing we'd been planning for like 6 weeks. we had a whole spot picked out, everybody was supposed to bring something different ? one guy has a long range fixed wing, couple of us with freestyle quads, my buddy was gonna bring his cinewhoop. anyway two people bailed the morning of, the fixed wing guy showed up but his VTX was acting weird the whole time so he barely flew, and it rained for like 40 minutes in the middle. we still had fun but it was nothing like what we planned. organizing people is just hard i guess

haha yeah this is like every group flight ever. someone always flakes and something always breaks. we've started doing a hard cutoff rule where if you dont confirm the day before you're just off the list. sounds harsh but it actually helped

the rain thing is the worst, we had the same problem at our last meetup. spent more time under a tarp eating snacks than actually flying but honestly it was still a good time just hanging out and talking about builds
