im in the same boat lol, currently just using a random amazon hard case i found that had the pick and pull foam inside. its honestly fine for the price, like $35 or something? cuts a bit rough but doe
so ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks now and i cant decide. im flying a mini 4 pro and i need something for checked luggage on longer trips, not just tossing it in a backpack. ive seen the official dji shoulder bag thing but honestly it looks kind of flimsy for the price and i dont trust it in checked baggage. saw some people recommending pelican cases but those feel like overkill and also super heavy to lug around the airport when youre already dealing with carry-on drama.
does anyone actually travel with their setup checked and whats worked for you? i mostly bring 3-4 batteries, nd filters, a couple extra props, the fly more combo stuff basically. would love something that isnt going to make me look like im transporting military equipment through customs too lol
