mavic 3 firmware.0700 bricked my RC Pro or i just panicking

okay so i updated yesterday to the latest firmware, the.0700 one that pushed through the fly app, and now my RC Pro is stuck on the DJI logo on boot. just sits there. tried holding the power button for like 30 seconds nothing happens, tried the two button combo i saw on youtube that apparently forces a restart and it did nothing either

the drone itself powered on fine when i plugged it into the charger so thats not the issue, its specifically the remote. battery is at 60% so its not a dead battery situation

been flying this thing for 18 months without a single firmware problem and now this. honestly debating just rolling back but i dont even know if thats possible at this point if the remote wont boot. anyone dealt with this or is this a DJI support ticket situation

this happened to a guy in our local club a few months back with a different firmware update, different controller though. DJI actually walked him through a recovery mode process over the phone that isnt documented anywhere publicly. the support ticket route is probably your best bet here because the fix apparently involves connecting the RC to a PC through DJI assistant 2 while holding a specific button combo during boot, but the exact combo varies by hardware revision and i dont want to tell you the wrong one and make it worse

definitely dont try random youtube fixes on it, saw someone turn a recoverable situation into an actual brick doing that

ugh dji and their firmware rollouts man. they pushed that same update to my mini 4 and the return to home altitude reset itself to like 20 meters which would have been a disaster if i hadnt checked before my next flight. always always check your safety settings after an update, they have a habit of reverting stuff

hope your RC Pro situation gets sorted, that controller is too expensive to be a paperweight
