so this is frustrating. we're in the middle of fungicide applications on wheat and the T40 keeps throwing a pump pressure error partway through missions. not every mission, maybe 1 in 4 or 5 flights. it'll just stop mid-swath, RTH kicks in, and when you look at the logs it's a pump overcurrent fault.

we're running it with a pretty standard mix, nothing unusual in the tank, and the nozzles are clean ? checked them this morning. the thing is it doesnt always happen at the same point in the mission or the same battery level so im struggling to find a pattern. ambient temp today was around 88F if that matters. fluid is mixing fine before loading.

DJI support is useless so far, took 3 days to get a generic response telling me to check my nozzles which i already told them i did. anyone actually dealt with a pump issue on one of these or know if theres a known fault with certain firmware versions

had something similar on ours last summer, turned out to be a partially clogged inline filter not the nozzles themselves. the nozzles looked totally clean but the filter just upstream of the pump was restricting enough flow that under certain load conditions the pump was working too hard and tripping the overcurrent protection. its a pretty small mesh filter and the stuff that clogs it isnt always visible without pulling it and backflushing. worth pulling that out and inspecting before assuming its a pump or firmware issue.

also 88F ambient and depending on what your mix viscosity is, some formulations get weird in heat and can affect how hard the pump works. probably not your main issue but something to think about.

firmware version? there was a known issue a while back i vaguely remember reading about on the DJI forum that caused intermittent pump faults under specific conditions, think it was around v08 or v09 something. cant remember exactly and i might be misremembering the version numbers but might be worth searching their official forum with the exact fault code from your logs rather than the symptom description. the error code usually gets you closer to the actual thread
