Avata keeps drifting in manual mode, not sure if its the unit or me

okay so this has been bugging me for like two weeks. flying the Avata in manual mode, full manual not sport, and theres this weird drift to the left that i cant seem to trim out. its subtle but when im trying to do a straight line powerloop approach it throws me off every time. i calibrated the IMU twice and did a fresh bind. using the motion controller actually no wait the joystick controller, the RC-M or whatever its called.

at first i thought it was wind but i replicated it in my garage at low throttle and yeah its still pulling left. maybe 3-4 degrees off. the goggles are showing stable horizon in the OSD so its not a visual thing. honestly dont know if this is a stick calibration thing or if somethings off with the unit itself. anyone dealt with this

check your stick calibration in the DJI fly app, theres a specific joystick calibration buried in the controller settings that a lot of people miss. the IMU cal wont fix a biased stick center. also make sure you're doing the calibration on a flat surface with the aircraft completely still, i've seen people do it on carpet and that causes all kinds of weirdness. if you already did that and it's still drifting could be a motor issue but start with the stick cal first

had something similar after a minor crash, turned out one of the props had a tiny nick in it that i couldnt really see. swapped all four and the drift basically dissapeared. might not be your problem but worth checking before you go deep into calibration rabbit holes
