dji just pushed another firmware update and now my rc pro is acting weird

ok so i dont usually post about this stuff but this one is genuinely annoying me. updated the rc pro yesterday ? the one with the built in screen ? and now when i launch fly app it takes like an extra 30-40 seconds to actually connect to the bird compared to before. the link eventually establishes fine and everything seems normal in the air but that initial handshake is just way slower than it used to be.

also noticed the video cache settings got reset which is a minor thing but still. anyone else on.0700 or whatever this latest one is seeing the same thing? im half tempted to roll back but last time i tried to do that it was a whole ordeal. my mate said it might be related to some ocusync renegotiation thing they changed but he was just guessing really

rolling back dji firmware is almost never worth it in my opinion, you end up fighting the app wanting to update it again every single time you launch. i'd just give it a few flights and see if it normalizes. the handshake delay sounds like it could be the rc pro re-indexing the rf environment or something on startup, theres been a few threads on the dji forum about this going back like a year just with different firmware versions causing it. might be worth checking if your fly app version is actually matched to what the firmware expects ? sometimes they get out of sync if you have auto update off on one but not the other
