DJI Neo ? anyone actually bought one or is this just hype

so the DJI Neo has been out for a bit now and im seeing a lot of mixed stuff online. some people are saying its genuinely a great little selfie drone for casual use and others are saying its kind of a toy compared to the Mini 4 Pro. which like, fair, its supposed to be a different product but the price difference isnt massive enough for me to just dismiss it.

mostly curious if anyone here has actually flown one in real conditions, not just in a gym or whatever. how does it handle wind? the specs are a little worrying to me, its so light i feel like anything over 10mph would just push it around. also the lack of obstacle avoidance on some modes seems like a weird omission. anyway just wondering if anyone has hands on time with it before i consider pulling the trigger

I picked one up a few weeks ago mostly as a grab-and-go thing for hiking trips where I dont want to carry the full Mini 4 setup. honestly for calm days its fine, footage is decent considering what it is. but yeah wind is a real issue, took it out when gusts were hitting maybe 12-13mph and it was visibly struggling to hold position, the footage had this kind of jittery drift to it that EIS couldn't fully clean up. wouldn't rely on it for anything professional but as a fun little camera thats always in the bag it works.

i feel like DJI keeps releasing stuff in weird overlapping categories lately and im not sure who half these products are actually for. like the Neo is cool i guess but if youre already considering a Mini 4 Pro just get that, the jump in capability is massive. the Neo feels like its targeting people who have never owned a drone before and want something almost foolproof, which is fine but probably not most people asking about it on a forum like this
