so ive been flying my mini 3 pro for about 6 months now and i think i finally got something worth sharing. went out to the reservoir near my house last tuesday, conditions were perfect, wind was almost nothing and the golden hour light was just doing its thing. i did a slow reverse pull-back starting about 10 feet above the water and let it go all the way up to maybe 300 feet while rotating slightly. came out way better than i expected tbh

only issue is i noticed some banding in the sky when i graded it, i was shooting in d-log m and im not 100% sure i exposed it right. still learning the whole log workflow thing. anyway link is in my profile if anyone wants to take a look, genuinely curious what people think, good or bad

the banding thing in d-log is usually a noise issue from underexposing, what iso were you at? ive had the same problem and once i started keeping it at 100 and just using nd filters to control exposure properly it basically went away. also the mini 3 sensor is pretty small so it doesnt have a ton of latitude to begin with, you kind of have to nail it in camera more than youd think

that shot sounds sick though, reverse pullbacks over water are always money if the light cooperates

watched it, really nice. the rotation on the pullback is subtle which is good because ive seen people overdo that and it looks weird. only thing id say is maybe cut it like 8 seconds earlier than you did, the last bit where it levels off kind of kills the momentum a little. but honestly for 6 months in thats a solid clip
