so ive been flying my mini 3 pro for about 6 months now and i think i finally got something worth sharing. took it out to the reservoir near my house saturday evening and just let it hover while the sun was going down. the colors came out way better than i expected, like the orange hitting the water was honestly kind of unreal. i barely touched the exposure settings, just let the auto do its thing which i know some people hate but whatever it worked.

anyway ill try to link the footage if i can figure out how to attach it here, not sure if this forum lets you embed or if i need to drop a youtube link. anybody else been getting good light lately? feels like this time of year is really good for golden hour stuff

yeah drop the youtube link, thats how most people do it here. embeds are hit or miss depending on your account age i think. sunset over water is hard to beat honestly, i did something similar last month at a lake and even with mediocre composition it just looks good because of the light. dont undersell the auto exposure either, the mini 3 handles it pretty well in those conditions

ooh id love to see it. I just got my first drone like 3 weeks ago and im still figuring out when the good light actually is, like i keep going out mid afternoon and everything looks kind of flat and boring. maybe i need to just start getting up earlier or staying out later lol
