I made this exact move about a year ago, got a Nazgul5 V3 and honestly the stock tune is... fine? like it flies, you wont be embarrassed by it, but yeah there is propwash on hard snap rolls if youre p

i went prebuilt last year and never looked back tbh. got the geprc mark5 and it came pretty well tuned out of the box, way better than i expected. still went in and adjusted the rates to match what im
so ive been building my own 5inch quads for like 3 years now and honestly im kind of burnt out on the whole sourcing parts process. waiting on stuff from aliexpress, something arrives DOA, you fight with the soldering iron for a weekend and then flash betaflight and spend another 3 evenings on filters. you know the drill.
been looking at the DJI O3 prebuilts and also the iFlight Nazgul stuff. the nazgul evoque seems like a solid deal but i cant tell if the stock tune is actually flyable or if youre just gonna end up on the filters tab anyway trying to fix propwash. the DJI stuff obviously has way better video link but paying that premium for a prebuilt feels weird when im used to throwing stuff together for less.
anyone gone from full custom builds to prebuilts and actually stuck with it? or do you always end up tearing it apart and rebuilding anyway
