something weird happened with my Air 2S over the water today

not sure if this is a known thing or if i should be worried. was flying out over a bay area, maybe 200 feet up, probably 400 meters out from shore. everything was totally normal and then it just kind of... paused? like the controls felt mushy for maybe 3-4 seconds and then came back fine. the video feed didn't drop, i could still see everything, it just felt like the sticks weren't responding the same way

landed fine, footage looks fine, no errors in the fly app afterward that i could see. it was a bit windy, maybe 15mph gusts, and there were a few boats in the area. been flying this thing for over a year and never had that happen before so it just felt off. anyone else experienced something like that or have any idea what it might have been

could be interference from the boats honestly. some of those bigger vessels run equipment that can mess with the signal in weird ways. also 15mph gusts over water can get squirrelly because theres no terrain for the wind to behave predictably around, the drone might have just been fighting to hold position and it felt like lag on your end. did you check the flight logs in the app after? sometimes theres stuff recorded there that doesnt show up as an error but you can see if there were signal drops or anything

yeah pull the logs, the raw flight data tells you way more than the app surface level stuff. you can use something like airdata UAV to read them properly. i had something similar happen once and it turned out to be a brief video transmission dropout that made it feel weird on my end even though the actual flight control link was fine the whole time. your brain interprets things differently when the feed glitches even for a second

probably nothing serious if it landed clean and theres no errors but worth checking before you fly over water again just to be sure
