been looking at the Air 3 vs the Air 2S for a while now and still cant decide

ok so ive been going back and forth on this for honestly longer than i should admit. the Air 2S is significantly cheaper now that the Air 3 is out, like you can find them used for pretty reasonable prices. but the Air 3 has dual cameras and the medium tele lens is actually something i think id use for the kind of real estate and landscape stuff i do

the thing is im not a professional, i do this mostly for fun with occasional paid gigs, maybe 3 or 4 a year. so the price difference matters. id love to hear from people who actually fly both or made this same decision. not looking for spec sheet comparisons i can read those myself, more like what do you actually wish you had or not had after buying one

i went through the exact same thing last fall. ended up with the Air 3 and honestly the tele camera gets used way more than i expected. when youre doing real estate and you just want a slightly compressed look without flying closer to the house it changes how you approach shots. the 2S sensor is great dont get me wrong but once you have that second focal length you kind of wonder how you shot without it. if budget is tight and youre not doing paid stuff regularly the 2S is still a fantastic drone, no shame in that choice at all

tbh for 3-4 paid gigs a year the Air 2S is probably fine and the money you save could go toward nd filters or a second battery set which youll definitely need anyway. i flew the 2S for two years before upgrading and never once lost a client over image quality. the jump to Air 3 is nice but its not like night and day on a deliverable that ends up compressed on someones website or mls listing lol
