updated last night because i saw the notification and figured id do it before my shoot this morning. bad idea apparently. now when i go into the safety settings the APAS sensitivity sliders are greyed out and i cant change anything. its stuck on like the most aggressive avoidance mode which is useless for the orchard shots i was doing today, had to abort the whole session because it kept stopping and hovering for no reason.

tried the usual stuff ? power cycled everything, disconnected and reconnected the RC2, even cleared the DJI fly app cache. nothing. the settings just wont respond. anyone else seeing this or did i do something weird during the install

yeah there's a known issue with that update and APAS on the mini 4, someone posted about it on the DJI forum two days ago. the workaround that worked for a few people is going into the fly app, logging completely out of your DJI account, force closing, then logging back in before you even power the drone on. something about the profile sync overwriting local settings after the firmware flash. not guaranteed to fix it but worth trying before you do a full refresh on the aircraft.

if that doesnt work you might have to roll back which is its own headache with DJI Assistant 2. make sure you grab the previous firmware file before they pull it from the server, they sometimes do that fast

this is exactly why i wait like 2 weeks before touching any firmware update before a job. learned that the hard way with the Mavic 3 a while back. hope you get it sorted, greyed out settings after an update is always such a mystery as to whats actually happening under the hood
