so this has been happening for a few weeks and its getting kind of annoying. im flying and then out of nowhere the video feed just drops for a few seconds, sometimes it comes back, sometimes it triggers the RTH which is obviously not ideal when youre in the middle of a shot. the drone seems fine physically, no crashes or anything. i updated the firmware a while back but not sure if that made it worse or if its just coincidence.

its not always in the same location either so im not sure its interference from a specific source. happened at a pretty open field yesterday which made even less sense to me. RC Pro controller if that matters. anyone dealt with this or know what to even check first

few things to try ? first check if your RC Pro antennas are oriented correctly relative to the drone, sounds obvious but its easy to just hold the controller however feels comfortable without thinking about it. the signal is weakest off the tips of the antennas so you want the flat faces pointed toward the aircraft.

also worth going into DJI Fly and checking the video cache settings, sometimes a nearly full cache can cause weird feed stuttering that looks like a connection drop but isn't really. and if you havent done a full power cycle of both the drone AND controller together (not just the drone) thats worth doing too. i had something similar on my Air 2S a while back and a proper cache clear sorted it. if none of that helps might be worth refreshing the firmware even if it says its current, sometimes a reinstall helps.

could also just be interference even in an open field, wifi on 2.4ghz from like a farmhouse nearby or even someone's hotspot can mess with the signal more than people expect. you can switch the transmission channel to manual in the settings and try a less congested frequency. i switched mine to a fixed channel ages ago and the random dropouts basically stopped. might not be your issue but its quick to test
