DJI Neo ? anyone actually bought one yet or still on the fence

so the Neo has been out for a little while now and i keep going back and forth on whether its worth picking up. i already have a mini 3 pro which does pretty much everything i need for real estate and some travel stuff but the Neo is so cheap that its tempting just as a knockaround thing. the palm launch thing looks genuinely useful for solo shooting but i dunno if id actually use it or if id just revert back to my normal setup out of habit

also curious if anyone has compared the footage quality side by side with the mini 3 cause thats kind of the deciding factor for me. if its noticeably worse i'll probably just pass but if its in the same ballpark for casual use then maybe its worth having around as a backup

got one about a month ago and honestly its a fun little thing. the footage isnt quite mini 3 level, you can tell in anything with a lot of dynamic range like shooting toward a bright sky, but for social media clips and just messing around its totally fine. the palm launch does work and i use it more than i thought i would especially when im somewhere i dont want to set anything down on the ground. biggest annoyance for me is wind handling, anything above like 15mph and it starts to struggle a bit

i'll be honest the whole "affordable DJI" pitch feels a bit overmarketed to me. like yes its cheap for a DJI but there are other options at that price point that have been around longer. that said my buddy brought his to a trip we did last month and i was impressed enough that im reconsidering. the stabilization on it is genuinely impressive for the size
