what do you actually need to buy with a mini 4 pro, asking as someone who just ordered one

okay so i pulled the trigger on a mini 4 pro last week, fly more combo with the RC2, should arrive thursday. ive never owned a drone before, the most ive done is messed around with a cheap toy thing years ago so this is pretty different territory for me.

i watched probably too many youtube videos and now im overwhelmed because everyone seems to have like 15 accessories and im not sure whats actually necessary vs what people are just buying because they like gear. do i really need ND filters right away? someone mentioned a landing pad which seems kind of optional but idk. and what about the case situation, the fly more combo comes with a bag but people seem to hate it.

not planning to do any professional work, mostly travel and hiking stuff. just dont want to show up somewhere and realize i forgot something important

honestly for just starting out you dont need much. the fly more bag is fine enough to get going, its not amazing but it does the job. ND filters i would hold off on until you actually understand why you'd use them ? a lot of beginners buy a full ND kit and never touch half of them. maybe grab an ND16 and ND64 and leave it at that for now.

the one thing i would actually say is worth getting early is a decent landing pad, grass and dirt can mess with the downward sensors and kick up debris into the motors. theyre like 15 bucks on amazon. other than that just fly the thing and figure out what you actually need based on how you use it, everyone's kit ends up being different anyway

i got mine a few months ago also as a first drone and the thing i wish someone told me is to just get a couple extra memory cards sorted before you go anywhere. came so close to running out of space on a trip because i forgot the cards fill up fast shooting 4k. also download the DJI fly app and update the firmware before you even try to fly, that took me like an hour the first time and i was standing in a field like an idiot waiting for it to finish
