so i went out last tuesday evening when the light was actually cooperating for once and managed to get like 40 minutes of flight time in before the battery died. shot in d-log this time instead of just leaving it on auto like i usually do and honestly the difference in post is pretty noticeable. still figuring out the color grading stuff but im pretty happy with how it came out.

dropped the link in the comments, would love to know if the exposure looks off to anyone else or if its just my monitor. also not sure if i should have flown lower over the water, felt kinda sketchy with the reflection messing with the altitude sensor

colors look really nice man, whatever you did in post worked. the slow pan around the 1:20 mark is clean. only thing id say is the beginning is a bit shaky, like maybe the gimbal wasnt fully stabilized yet when you took off? happens to me all the time when im rushing to catch the light

yeah flying low over water with d-log always makes me nervous too, had my sensors freak out on me once over a glassy lake and it started climbing randomly. nice shots though, the reflection in the water during the golden hour part is genuinely pretty good
