ok so the little shoulder bag that came with my mini 3 (not the pro, just the regular one) is honestly kind of a joke. theres barely room for the drone, one battery, and the controller and then its already stuffed. i have two extra batteries and the charging hub and all of that just ends up in a separate backpack which defeats the whole point of having a small drone i guess.

been looking at random cases on amazon but i cant really tell whats good and whats garbage from the photos. anyone actually found something that works well without being like a giant camera backpack situation. i dont need to carry a whole studio just the drone and maybe 3-4 batteries and the rc-n1 controller

i use a Lowepro Adventura messenger bag that i already had for camera stuff and just reorganized the dividers. fits everything and doesnt scream "expensive drone inside" which i actually care about. the branded DJI cases always feel like youre advertising to anyone watching.

honestly though if you want something specifically designed for it the Torvol Quad Pitstop backpack gets recommended a lot in the FPV crowd but its probably overkill for a mini setup and its not cheap. for your needs id just grab any small hardshell case with foam inserts, the ones that are like 20-30 bucks on amazon and you cut the foam yourself. tedious but you get exactly what you need.

tbh i just use a regular toiletry bag from the travel section at target lol. everything fits, its padded enough that im not worried about it in a backpack, and i spent zero dollars because i already had it. not saying its the ideal solution but the whole "mini" appeal for me was not having a bunch of dedicated gear to haul around so i kind of lean into that
