ok so this has been driving me crazy for like two days now. i flew in a controlled airspace zone last month no problem, did the LAANC thing through aloft, got my authorization email, unlocked it in the DJI app and it was fine. now im trying to do the same thing for a different location, went through aloft again, got my approval, but my mavic 3 just refuses to let me take off. still showing the zone as locked. ive tried restarting the app, restarting the drone, even reinstalled DJI fly. the authorization shows as active in aloft. is there something weird going on with how DJI handles these or did i mess up the unlocking process somehow, i thought i did it the same way as before

DJI's geofencing and LAANC are honestly two separate systems that dont always talk to each other cleanly. getting a LAANC approval doesnt automatically tell DJI's servers anything, you still have to go into the DJI fly app under safety or unlocking (cant remember exactly where they moved it in the recent update) and manually submit the unlock request using your DJI account. the LAANC approval from aloft is more for your legal records than for the drone itself. if you did do that step already then it might just be a sync issue, ive had to wait like 10-15 minutes after submitting before the drone actually recognizes it

had the exact same issue a while back and it turned out the coordinates i entered into aloft were slightly off from where DJI thought i was trying to fly. like the grid squares dont always line up perfectly. ended up just requesting a slightly wider area in aloft and then it worked. also sometimes if your GPS lock on the drone is weak when you first boot it up it puts you in the wrong spot on the map which can cause weirdness with zone detection. worth letting it sit outside for a few minutes before you even open the app
