landed a split s into a power loop today first time ever getting it smooth

ok so been trying to link these two together for months and today it just clicked. i think the key for me was carrying way more speed into the split s than i thought i needed, like i kept slowing down because i was scared and that was killing the whole flow. once i just committed and kept the throttle up through the first half it actually felt natural going into the loop. probably looked terrible on the dvr but it felt smooth as hell. anyone else find that speed is the answer to most freestyle problems lol because for me it really seems like it

yeah speed fixes everything in freestyle, slower you go the more you have to fight the quad. congrats on linking it though that combo looks sick when its done right. post the dvr even if its rough, better than nothing

honestly took me forever to stop babying the throttle. i fly a 3inch toothpick and even on that thing more speed = more control during transitions. the quad just tracks better when its loaded up. good stuff tho, linking tricks is when it starts getting actually fun instead of just practicing individual moves over and over
