so ive been flying my mini 3 pro out at the reservoir near my house for a few weeks now trying to nail that golden hour look and i think i finally got something worth sharing. the colors just came together right and i managed to get a slow pull-back while the sun was hitting the water perfectly. not gonna lie i almost lost the drone trying to get the angle but it was worth it lol

posted it to my youtube channel, its only like 47 seconds but i think its the best thing ive filmed so far. would love actual feedback not just "nice video" comments, like tell me if the exposure looks off or if the movement is too fast or whatever. i edited it in davinci resolve and i still dont fully know what im doing in there so be honest

the pull-back looked smooth but yeah the highlights on the water are a little blown out around the 20 second mark, you can see the detail just kind of disappears. if you shot in d-log you might be able to recover some of that in post, or just dial the exposure down half a stop before that moment if you can anticipate it. overall though the timing was good, that ripple effect on the water right when you start pulling back was a nice coincidence or nice planning idk which
