so this has been bugging me for a couple weeks now and finally decided to post. running an XAG P100 for rice paddies, about 60 acres, and mid way through our second application cycle the pump started losing pressure inconsistently. like it'll spray fine for 10-15 minutes then the flow rate just drops noticeably, you can see it in the swath width getting narrower. then sometimes it comes back on its own and sometimes it doesnt.

already checked the obvious stuff ? filters are clean, nozzles are clear, tank isnt airlocked as far as i can tell. battery voltage is solid. the weird thing is it doesnt throw any fault codes in the XAG app which makes it harder to diagnose. only thing i havent done is pulled the pump assembly itself which i'm a bit hesitant to do mid season because if i mess something up i'm down for god knows how long.

temp out here has been around 32-35 celsius during operations which i know is on the high side but shouldnt be outside operating range. running a fungicide mix, nothing particularly aggressive. any ideas before i call the dealer

had something similar on a different ag drone (agras t40 not xag but similar pump style) and it turned out to be a partial blockage inside the pump head itself that the filters weren't catching. like a small crystal of whatever we were spraying had gotten past and was intermittently blocking the impeller. pulled the pump head and sure enough there it was. i know you said you're hesitant mid season but honestly its probably a 20 minute job if you've done any basic maintenance on it before, and if thats the cause you're just going to keep having the same problem.

the temp thing is worth keeping in mind too, some pump seals start weeping a bit under sustained heat load which could cause inconsistent suction but usually that shows up as a slow gradual degredation not the intermittent thing you're describing.

check your intake hose connection at the tank outlet, had a barely loose fitting once that was letting in just enough air to cavitate the pump intermittently under certain attitudes. drove me crazy for like a week before i found it. no fault codes either because the pump was technically running fine, just cavitating.
