mini 3 pro keeps drifting even with gps locked??

  • Members

so ive had my mini 3 pro for about 3 months now and lately ive been noticing it drifts to the left when i let go of the sticks. like not a huge amount but enough to be annoying especially when im trying to hold a shot. gps says its locked, i get like 12-14 satellites usually, wind was pretty calm the day i noticed it most. ive calibrated the imu a couple times and it doesnt seem to help. anyone dealt with this? im not sure if its a hardware thing or if theres a setting im missing somewhere in the fly app

did you try compass calibration too not just imu? i had something similar after flying near a parking garage and the compass was totally off, drone was fighting itself the whole time. go somewhere open away from buildings and metal and do both calibrations back to back. also make sure youre not near anything magnetic when you power it on, ive seen people set them down on car hoods and then wonder why its acting weird

mine did the same thing once and it turned out one of the props had a tiny crack i couldnt really see at first. even a small imbalance can cause that kind of drift. worth checking all four props carefully, especially the edges
