my Mavic 3 keeps losing signal way sooner than it should, anyone else had this

so this has been bugging me for a while and i finally decided to post about it. Flying my Mavic 3 classic and the signal starts getting choppy way before i'd expect ? like sometimes within 800 meters in open areas which is obviously not right for O3+. It doesnt always happen, some days its fine and I've hit over 4km without issues, but other days it's dropping frames and giving me weak signal warnings before i even get out of sight.

I ruled out obvious interference as much as i can. Im not near a cell tower or anything obvious. Controller firmware is up to date. Started noticing this maybe two months ago, wasn't an issue before that. Haven't changed anything about my setup that im aware of.

anyone had something similar or know what to check? Getting a bit annoyed tbh.

Few things to check ? first, are you caching video to the internal storage and the SD card at the same time? There was a period where people were seeing weird interference-like behavior that turned out to be write speed issues creating processing lag that looked like signal problems but wasn't. Also worth checking if the antennas in the RC are oriented correctly, sounds dumb but the RC-N1 antennas need to be spread in a V shape pointing toward the drone, not straight up. Also what are you flying near? Parking lots with lots of cars can be surprisingly bad for 2.4/5.8 interference.

Had something weirdly similar with mine last summer and it turned out to be my phone. Was using an older Android as the controller display and after i switched to the dedicated RC controller the problem basically went away. Not sure if thats your situation but worth mentioning. Also someone in another thread mentioned that a specific firmware update around that time caused some connection stability regressions and DJI quietly patched it a version or two later, might be worth checking which version you're on exactly.
