so ive been flying my mini 3 pro out at lake henley for the past few weekends trying to get that golden hour look everyone keeps posting about and i think i finally nailed it yesterday. the colors came out way better than i expected honestly, i was shooting in d-log and did a pretty light grade in davinci just to bring the oranges out a bit without overdoing it.

anyway ill link the youtube clip below if anyone wants to check it out and tell me what they think. mostly curious if the horizon looks level to you guys because on my monitor it looks fine but my buddy said it looks slightly tilted in one shot. also wondering if i should have flown higher for the wide establishing shot or if the low angle worked

the low angle totally works for that kind of shot imo, gives it more drama than just hovering up high and going straight down on everything. i watched the clip and honestly the horizon looks fine to me, maybe a tiny bit off in like the 0:34 mark but nothing that would bother most people. the d-log grade looks clean, not over saturated which is a trap a lot of people fall into with sunsets
