litchi vs dronelink for waypoint missions

  • Members

been using litchi for a while now but keep hearing people talk about dronelink. my main thing is i do alot of mapping flights for work and need something that can handle complex waypoints without crashing mid flight. litchi works ok but sometimes the waypoints drift a bit and ive had it lose connection once or twice on longer missions

anyone made the switch from litchi to dronelink? is it worth the extra cost or should i stick with what i know

i switched about 6 months ago and honestly wish i did it sooner. dronelink is way more stable for long missions, never had it drop out like litchi used to do. the interface takes some getting used to though, definitely more complex but once you figure it out the mission planning is so much better. worth the money if your doing professional work imo

depends what drone your using too. dronelink works great with my mavic 3 but had issues with my old air 2s. also the subscription model is kinda annoying compared to lithcis one time purchase but the POI tracking in dronelink is insane if you need that
