so this happened to me last week, ran into a guy at the park who said he follows me on instagram from back when i posted some clips of the lake near my house. genuinely the weirdest moment, didnt even know anyone was watching those. we ended up chatting for like 45 mins about drones and he showed me his phone with all his own footage which was actually pretty good

small world i guess. made me think about whether i should post more consistently but then again i dont really fly for the content side of things, more just for the stress relief. anyway

thats actually really cool. closest i've had is someone stopping to ask if the drone is mine and then asking a bunch of questions about how much it costs lol. always the cost question first

Ha yeah the cost question is universal I think. I've been stopped a few times but never someone who actually knew my footage specifically. That would be genuinely surreal. Agree with you on flying for the therapy side of it though, the moment I start treating it like a job is probably the moment it stops being fun. Seen a lot of people burn out chasing the content grind.
