anyone going to the fly-in at Riverside park next month?

so i saw a post on facebook about a fly-in event at Riverside park on the 14th, some local club is organizing it and it looks like theyre expecting maybe 30-40 pilots. never been to one of these group things before, usually just fly solo at the field near my house. is it weird to show up alone or do people generally just hang out and talk gear? also not sure if i should bring my 5inch or just take the mini 3, dont want to be the guy showing up with something totally out of place

dude just go, these things are super chill. i went to my first one like two years ago not knowing a single person and ended up talking to this guy for like an hour about long range builds. bring whatever you fly, nobody cares. honestly the more variety the better, its cool to see different setups. the 5inch would probably get some attention in a good way

depends on the club tbh. some of them are pretty serious about having everything FAA registered and want proof on the spot, others are way more relaxed. id check if they posted any rules before you show up. also 30-40 pilots in one airspace can get kinda hectic if theres no frequency coordination or designated flight windows, just something to think about
