so i finally did that trip ive been planning for like two years, flew around the algarve for a few days and wanted to share some stuff in case anyone else is going there

first thing, the wind is absolutely brutal near the cliffs especially in the afternoon. i nearly lost my mini 4 pro twice just hovering trying to get a shot of praia da marinha. morning was way calmer so if you can get up early thats probably the move

also didnt know this but portugal has a bunch of restricted airspace around the nature reserves and i almost flew in one without checking. the georeferencing on the dji app didnt flag it clearly so i had to cross reference with the portuguese civil aviation authority site which is... not the most fun website to navigate. just saying double check everything before you go

overall though one of the best places ive ever flown. the light in the evening is insane and the cliffs look incredible from above. totally worth the hassle

this is making me want to finally book that trip lol. been sitting on it forever. how was the range out there, did you get any interference near the cliffs or was the signal pretty solid
