heading to reykjavik in a few weeks and want to bring my mini 3 pro. heard mixed things about drone rules there, some people say you need permits for everything others say just stay away from airports. anyone actually flown there recently?

yeah you definitely need to register with the icelandic transport authority before you fly. took me like 2 days to get approval but wasnt too bad. just dont fly near any of the tourist spots without checking first, they're pretty strict about that stuff

i went last summer and honestly just flew wherever looked cool lol. didnt have any problems but maybe i got lucky? the northern lights shots were insane though so totally worth bringing it
