finally got some decent coastal footage — would love some eyes on it

so ive been flying my mini 3 for about 8 months now and honestly most of my clips have been kinda flat and boring but last weekend i went out to the coast like an hour before sunset and i think i finally got something worth sharing. the light was insane, that golden kind where everything looks warm and soft. did a slow reverse pull-back over the cliffs and then a low pass over the water. only about 12 minutes of usable footage but there were maybe 3 or 4 shots in there that genuinely surprised me when i played them back.

gonna try to get it edited down and post a link here. anyone else been shooting coastal stuff lately? always looking at how other people handle the horizon line and color grading for ocean shots cause mine tend to go a bit too teal

yeah post it up, coastal stuff is always worth a look. the teal thing is super common when you pull the saturation up without thinking — i used to do the same thing. try pulling back your blues and cyans seperately in lightroom or whatever you're using and nudging the hue on the teals slightly toward green, sounds weird but it usually calms it down without making the water look weird

also the reverse pullback over cliffs is such a good move when you nail the altitude. whats the terrain like, rocky drop or more gradual?
