weird gimbal issue with my evo 2 pro

  • Members

so this started happening last week and its driving me nuts. when i start up my evo 2 pro the gimbal does its normal calibration thing but then it gets stuck tilting all the way down and wont respond to any controls. i can still fly fine but obviously cant adjust the camera angle which makes it pretty useless. tried recalibrating multiple times and even did a factory reset but same thing keeps happening. anyone else run into this

had something similar happen to mine a while back. turned out to be the gimbal ribbon cable got loose somehow - maybe from a hard landing or just general wear. had to send it in for repair but autel fixed it pretty quick under warranty. might want to check if yours is still covered

before you send it in try updating the firmware if you havent already. i know it sounds basic but my evo lite had gimbal problems that got fixed with a firmware update. also make sure the gimbal cover is completely off when you power on, sometimes if its not fully removed it can mess with the calibration
