so i saw a post somewhere about a group fly happening at Riverside park saturday morning and i cant find the original thread anymore. does anyone know if its still happening or if it got cancelled? i think someone mentioned rain but the forecast looks okay now

either way im planning to head out around 9ish with my mini 3 and maybe the fpv quad if i feel like it. would be cool to actually meet some people in person for once instead of just talking online

yeah its still on, they moved it to 10am i think because the guy organizing it had something in the morning. saw it on the facebook group. bring layers its been cold out there near the water

i went to one of the riverside ones last spring and it was actually really chill, way more relaxed than i expected. mostly guys flying wings and some fpv stuff. nobody was weird about beginners which i appreciated cause i was still pretty new at the time and kinda nervous about flying around experienced people. hope you have a good time
