haha i did something similar, drove out to a spot i scouted for weeks and the battery charger was still plugged into the wall at home. had two batteries at like 40% each. got maybe 12 minutes of fligh

honestly if you shoot in d-log or whatever your drone supports you can recover a decent amount in post even without filters. not perfect but might be worth trying if you havent already. also some peop
so anyway this has been a rough week. been planning this trip to a reservoir up in the mountains for like two months, perfect weather finally lined up, took friday off work, drove all the way out there. gorgeous location, glass water, golden hour was unreal. pulled out the drone and realized my filter wallet was sitting on my desk at home. flew anyway obviously but the footage is just way too blown out in most of the shots, sky is basically white in anything facing west.
managed to salvage maybe 3 or 4 clips by flying low and pointing more at the treeline but man. lesson learned i guess. might just tape a checklist to my case at this point because this is the second time ive done something like this
