group flight went kind of sideways lol

ok so me and like 4 other guys from the local facebook group finally met up last weekend for what was supposed to be a chill group fly at this big open field we found. and it started fine but then two of the guys were flying really close to each other and one of them panicked and pitched forward right into the other guys fpv quad. both came down pretty hard. nothing caught fire thankfully but one of the frames is toast and theres a weird tension now in the group chat lol. i think we need like some basic rules before we do this again, like designated flight zones or something idk. anyone else dealt with this kind of thing at informal meetups

we had something similar happen at our clubs monthly meetup. after that we started doing a quick briefing before anyone launches, nothing formal just someone talking for like 2 minutes about where people are flying and in which direction. made a huge differnce. also helps to have someone as a designated spotter if more than 2 or 3 birds are up.
