share your best single photo from this year, just one

im trying to make myself actually look back through everything i shot this year and pick ONE image im genuinely proud of instead of just dumping 40 mediocre shots into an album nobody looks at. its harder than it sounds

mine is this overhead shot of a dirt road cutting through wheat fields in august, the shadows from the clouds were doing something really cool and i caught it kind of by accident honestly. was just repositioning for a different angle and looked at the feed and was like wait

anyone else wanna share? doesnt have to be technically perfect just something that stuck with you

ok this is actually a good idea bc i have thousands of raws sitting there and i never really stop to think about which ones actually meant something. mine would probably be this shot from a camping trip in may, flew over a river bend right at sunrise and there was mist sitting in the low spots. the colors were kind of muted but in a way that felt intentional even tho it wasnt lol

one photo is hard man. i keep second guessing myself everytime i think ive picked one. technically mine is probably a long exposure of highway traffic from about 80m up but it feels like cheating bc long exposures from drones always look impressive even when you didnt do much
