saw something posted on facebook about a group fly-in happening at ridgeline park saturday morning, looks like its been running for a few years but i just moved to the area and never heard of it. anyone here been before? not sure if its worth dragging all my gear out for if its just like 5 guys standing around with phantoms lol. i fly a mini 3 pro mostly and sometimes my old mavic air when i feel like it. just wondering what the vibe is like, whether its chill or more of a competitive thing

yeah i went last year, its pretty low key honestly. maybe 15-20 people show up on a good day, mix of fixed wing guys and multirotors. nobody really cares what you fly, people just kind of set up and do their own thing but also chat a lot. bring snacks because people end up standing around talking for way longer than actually flying lol. def worth going if you're new to the area, good way to meet people
