been flying my mini 3 pro for like 6 months now and i think im finally getting the hang of the manual exposure stuff. went out to this reservoir near my house around 6:30pm and the light was just insane. got some footage i actually dont hate for once lol

dropped the link in here if anyone wants to take a look. mainly curious if the color grading is too heavy or if it looks natural enough. i tend to overdo the orange tones when im messing around in lightroom and im not always sure when ive crossed the line

also the horizon looks slightly tilted in one of the stills and im not sure if thats a gimbal thing or just me not paying attention. could be either honestly

the colors look pretty good to me, maybe just a tiny bit warm but nothing that looks fake. the horizon thing is probably just drift, happens to me all the time especially if you took off on uneven ground. i usually just fix it in post with the transform tool, takes like 5 seconds

sunset at reservoirs always hits different, something about the water reflection just makes everything look more dramatic. i did a similar shoot a few weeks ago and completely blew out the highlights because i forgot to dial back the EV compensation. your exposure looks way more controlled than mine did so youre already ahead of where i was at 6 months in
