feel like most drone people are into the whole aerial photography thing but honestly i dont care that much about the shots. i just like flying around and seeing stuff from up high. like the actual piloting part is what does it for me. my footage library is embarassing, mostly just random fields and my neighborhood at weird angles. anyone else or am i the weird one here

nope same exact thing, been flying for like 3 years and probably have 6 photos i'd actually show someone. its just fun to fly around and explore. i get weirdly into doing manual maneuvers and seeing how precise i can be. the camera is basically just there

I started out that way but then got kind of obsessed with trying to get better footage. though honestly sometimes I just go out and cruise around with no plan and those are usually my favorite sessions. no pressure to get a shot or anything just vibing. so yeah I get it
