flying in Costa Rica next month, anyone done it?

  • Members

so im heading to Costa Rica for three weeks in january and obviously bringing the mavic. done a bit of research but the rules seem all over the place depending on where you look. some sites say you need to register, others say tourists are fine under a certain weight class. gonna be doing mostly beach and rainforest stuff, no cities really.

anyone actually flown there recently and gone through the proper channels? dont want to get my gear confiscated on day one lol

not costa rica specifically but i flew in colombia and panama last year and the vibe is similar — registration requirements exist on paper but enforcement varies wildly depending on whether youre near
