so its been gusting like crazy here for the past week and i keep going outside, checking the wind, and then just going back inside. been sitting on my hands basically. do you guys have any other hobby stuff you do when flying isnt an option or do you just like... watch youtube and wait it out

ive been doing a lot of simulator time on velocidrone but honestly it gets old after a few hours. also been messing with my soldering station which is probably how i always end up buying more parts than i intended lol

yeah man simulator is fine for like an hour but then i just get frustrated because it doesnt feel the same. i usually end up just cleaning my quads or doing maintenance stuff i been putting off, replacing props, checking motors for wobble, that kind of thing. sometimes i rebuild something just to have something to do

I actually use the downtime to go through my footage and edit stuff I never got around to finishing. Have like three months of clips sitting there doing nothing. Wind days are basically my editing days at this point whether I like it or not.
