so we finally organized a group flight after months of trying to get everyone in the same place and like half the people who said they were coming just... didnt show. ended up being me, Dave, and one guy none of us had met before who turned out to be really cool actually. we flew for maybe two hours before the wind picked up and called it. not complaining it was still fun but man trying to coordinate more than like 5 pilots is genuinely impossible. does anyone elses club have this problem or is it just us

every single time lol. we do a whatsapp group and people are super hype in the chat then Saturday morning comes and its just excuses. ive started just telling myself its gonna be 3 people max and then anything above that is a bonus

the stranger thing is kind of relatable, some of the best flying sessions ive had were with random people i met at a field. sometimes the regulars get complacent and the new guys are just stoked to be there and it changes the vibe
