ok so i finally went to a local club meetup after lurking in their discord for like 4 months. brought my 5 inch out expecting to just watch mostly but people were super cool and let me join the group laps. thing is i am NOT used to flying with other people and i locked up completely on my second pack, just hovered in the corner like an idiot while everyone else was ripping around the field. almost clipped some guys brand new build on landing too which was mortifying. but yeah by the end of the day i was actually getting into the flow of it. the whole vibe was way more chill than i expected. gonna go back for sure

haha the first time flying with a group is always weird. your brain just does something different when theres other quads in the air. i froze up at my first meetup too and i had been flying for over a year at that point. it goes away pretty quick after a few sessions

which club is this? always looking for spots around here since my usual field got shut down last year when they turned it into a dog park or something, super annoying
