so i took the mavic out last night just because i was bored, no real plan, no shots i wanted to get, just kind of drove to the park and flew around for like 45 minutes watching the sun go down. didnt even record anything. just hovered over the pond for a while and watched the ducks freak out lol

idk theres something kind of meditative about it when your not trying to get a specific shot or worried about nailing a flight path. just flying. anyone else do this or am i weird

yeah man this is literally half my flights at this point. i stopped feeling like i had to justify every battery i burned. sometimes i just go to the field behind my house and do figure eights until i feel like stopping. no footage, no nothing. clears my head better than most things honestly

the ducks freaking out part got me, my dog does the same thing every single time i launch from the backyard lmao. but yeah i get it, sometimes i just wanna fly and not think about color grading or whatever
