feels like everyone on this forum is either trying to build a drone business or get into racing or something. im just a regular dude who flies on weekends at the park and takes some footage of hikes and stuff. not trying to sell anything or get followers. just wonder if there are other people here who are just in it for the chill factor and not treating it like a grind

yeah thats me 100%. i dont even post my videos anywhere, just watch them back myself. my wife thinks its weird but honestly its just relaxing. something about getting a different perspective on places you walk by every day

There's actually more of us than you'd think, we just don't post as much because there's nothing to argue about lol. I've been flying recreationally for about 6 years and I have zero interest in monetizing it. The second it becomes a job it stops being fun, I've seen it happen to people in other hobbies too and it kinda ruins it. Keep doing what you're doing.
