random thought - anyone else fly better in the morning vs evening

  • Members

this is probably just a me thing but i swear i fly way better in the morning. like early, before i check my phone or whatever. fly at dusk and im making dumb mistakes, clipping gates, overcorrecting. maybe its just fatigue idk. or the light messes with my depth perception through the goggles. anyone else notice something like this or am i just looking for excuses for my bad flying haha

yeah 100% same. morning sessions are cleaner, im more patient with the sticks. evenings i get sloppy, i think its just mental fatigue more than anything. also the sun angle at golden hour looks amazing for footage but its genuinely harder to see obstacles

tbh never really thought about it. i fly whenever i get a free hour which is usually whenever the kids are at school so like mid morning. cant really compare. though i did have my worst crash ever at like 6pm so maybe ur onto something
