flew at a park near my house yesterday, totally legal, checked everything, under 400ft, no restricted zones nothing. and i still had like two different people come up and ask me if i was recording them specifically. one guy was actually pretty rude about it. i get that peoples privacy concerns are real but it kinda takes the fun out of it when you feel like youre doing something wrong when youre not. does this happen to everyone or is it just my area

yeah happens all the time to me. i just try to be super friendly and explain what im doing and show them the screen sometimes. most people chill out pretty fast once they see its just landscape stuff. the rude ones though.. nothing you can really do there

Honestly I've started going out earlier in the morning just to avoid it. Like 7am nobody cares, they're half asleep walking their dogs. Midday at a busy park though forget it, someone will always have something to say. Not worth the stress for me personaly.
