so ive been planning this trip to da nang and hoi an for a while now and obviously i want to bring the mini 3 pro. done a bit of research but honestly the rules seem kind of all over the place depending on what source you read. some sites say you need a permit, some say tourists basically never get them approved. anyone actually flown there recently and knows whats realistic? dont want to leave the drone at home but also really dont want to get it confiscated at the airport or something

went to da nang last year with my air 2s. honestly just flew early mornings on the beach away from crowds and nobody said anything. the rules technically require permits but enforcement seems really inconsistent, especially outside of hanoi and hcmc. i wouldnt fly anywhere near military stuff obviously and just use common sense. marble mountains area is gorgeous by the way, worth waking up at 5am for the light

careful with the airports there, the no fly zones are pretty big radius and dji's geo fencing will lock you out in a lot of spots. i tried flying near the coast in nha trang and kept getting warnings. beach shots were still doable further south though
