been sitting here for like the third weekend in a row waiting for wind to calm down and it just doesnt happen. i had the whole day planned out, location scouted, batteries charged, even got up early and everything. wind was like 22mph gusts all morning and never really settled. ended up just watching youtube videos about drones instead of actually flying one lol. anyone else just end up doing this or do you have some other hobby you fall back on when flying isnt happening

yeah i basically just end up tinkering with stuff. reconfiguring my controller, updating firmware i've been putting off, that kind of thing. honestly sometimes the forced downtime is good for maintenance i keep ignoring. also started getting into sim flying on my pc which is actually way more fun than i expected, not the same obviously but it scratches the itch a little

i go fishing lol. no wind problems there
